We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies
such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.
We are working to have the website conform to the relevant standards of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as
well as the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These standards and guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. We believe that conformance with these standards and
guidelines will help make the website more user friendly for all people.
Our efforts are ongoing. While we strive to have the website adhere to these guidelines and standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.
If, at any time, you have specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any particular webpage, please contact WebsiteAccess@tenethealth.com so that we may be of assistance.
An Update for our community on the COVID-19 Vaccination Process
Brookwood Baptist Health - which is made up of Brookwood Baptist, Citizens Baptist, Princeton Baptist, Shelby Baptist and Walker Baptist - is currently in Phase 1a of our COVID-19 vaccination plan. This means we are vaccinating front line staff and physicians.
We are working with our state and local leaders, and we will keep everyone informed as more vaccine doses become available and we are able to expand vaccination capability.
The most effective safety measures we can take against COVID-19 continue to be wearing a mask, washing our hands, and maintaining a social distance.
We remind our community not to delay care. Our hospitals are open, safe and ready to care for you.
Having a baby is one of the most significant events in life, and we’re delighted to be a part of this exciting time with you and your family. At the Women's Medical Center at Brookwood, our goal is to provide high-quality care and
services, specially designed for you and your newborn.

we love women, and we love taking care of them.
Your personal patient story means a lot to those you love, those who care for you and for the team at Women's Medical Center at Brookwood. Whether you came to Brookwood as a patient or in support of your loved one, we want to hear your story.
