3 Reasons Why Every Mom Deserves a Push Present

by System on May 9, 2019, 15:42 PM

For nine months, she’s endured back pain, swelling, morning sickness and discomfort. She fought through hours of intense labor contractions and finally gave birth to your beautiful bundle of joy. Certainly this is one of the happiest moments of her life. A new child is the best gift you can ever receive. And while no gift can match the precious new addition to your family, one could argue that your partner deserves something special for the oftentimes tough experience of pregnancy. Mom deserves a treat!

Push presents have been around for a while, but it’s recently become a hot trend. Whether it’s a heartfelt, romantic, or an extravagant purchase, the thought – to show your appreciation and love for your partner in this new season of your life together – is all that matters.

Need more convincing that a push present is a good idea? We have compiled a list to “push” you to show your love and appreciation to your deserving new mama.

3 Reasons Why Every Mom Deserves a Push Present

#1. Dad will never understand.

Women around the world have argued for centuries that men will never appreciate the intense pain that comes with bringing a child into the world. A token of appreciation (whether it be great or small) to acknowledge pregnancy’s physical/mental/emotional exertion, which men can never fully comprehend, is a lovely gesture.

#2. Everything Else Is All About Baby

Of course, everyone is excited for baby, but let’s not forget that mom is doing all the hard work, growing a little human and all. Because the last thing a new mom is thinking about is herself, it can be comforting to receive gifts that have nothing to do with baby to help her feel loved, appreciated and cared for during the crazy newborn season.

#3. The hard work has really just begun.

Yes. The pregnancy, labor and delivery are over, but the hard part has only just begun. Motherhood is one of life’s greatest journeys, but the early stage is oftentimes the hardest part to endure. Sleepless nights, breastfeeding difficulties, fluctuating hormones, and postpartum depression can be taxing on a new mother. A little something to say “I appreciate you and love you” during such an emotional, and exhausting time, can go a long way.
